Choose Neutral Detergent To Avoid Corrosiveness To Buttons

Chemical detergents with corrosive properties such as strong acid and strong alkali should not be involved in clothing washing. Neutral detergents should be used to avoid corrosiveness to buttons such as rubber buttons, metal buttons (copper or alloy) and shells, resulting in bad phenomena such as color loss, paint peeling and deformation of buttons. For the ready-made clothes that need to be buttoned before washing, although the protection processes such as acid proof have been strengthened, the corrosive discoloration of the buttons cannot be completely avoided due to the chemical reaction. Therefore, unless special requirements are met, it is not recommended to button before washing in principle.

Precautions for button turning

(1) The mold must be properly matched with the button when the button is nailed. The center position of the upper and lower molds should be vertical and consistent when adjusting the sample mold, otherwise the button will be skewed and hard filed after the button is nailed; If the mold is adjusted too tightly, the button will be broken and the button surface will be scratched. If it is an oil spray product, the button paint will be removed and the cloth will be worn; If the mold is adjusted too loose, the buttons will become loose after being punched, or even the buttons will come off because they are not firmly punched.

(2) The thickness, softness, hardness and elasticity of the ready-made clothing fabric will be different from the matching of the buttons. If the difference between the layers of cloth at the buttoning position is too large (for example, one layer of cloth and six layers of cloth), it is recommended that the molds be adjusted separately and the buttons be buttoned separately to ensure the normal effect after buttoning.

(3) The inspection of the buttoning machine before buttoning, whether the mold is worn, whether the mold is matched with the button, and whether the buttoning operator meets the job requirements are all prerequisites for normal buttoning.
