How to distinguish the material of buttons

Among our common buttons, they can be roughly divided into plastic buttons (plastic, resin), metal buttons, natural buttons, etc. the process of making each button is different. Although some buttons look the same in appearance, the use of internal materials is totally different.

For plastic buttons and resin buttons, since plastic buttons are made by die casting, there is a line on the edge of the button, which is called the clamping line. Some factories may remove this line in subsequent processing, and the appearance will become close to the resin button. However, the same amount of plastic buttons is lighter than resin buttons. The surface of resin buttons will be more smooth, but it is easy to scratch and crack. If you put it in water, the resin buttons may become soft.
