How to judge the quality of buttons

Apr 09, 2023

1. Button surface
There should be no cracks, notches, unevenness and obvious scratches on the button surface.
Horn buckles are special because the horn itself has texture. It is difficult to make the surface of finished horn buttons very smooth. If the surface of the button is exposed to the light, you can see some cracks.
2. Button back
There are no obvious car cracks and air bubbles on the front and back; no rotten edges and uneven thickness.
3. Button pattern
There should be no white eyes, white circles and other phenomena in the pattern.
4. Button lettering
High-end ready-to-wear will have their brand name engraved on the buttons. If there is engraving on the button, you should check whether the engraved words are clearly visible.
