How to distinguish plastic buttons from resin buttons?
Jul 08, 2022
When it comes to buttons, it is made of resin and plastic. Let's talk about the difference between resin and plastic. Resin usually refers to a polymer that has softening or melting range after being heated. When it is softened, it tends to flow under the action of external force. It is solid, semi-solid and sometimes liquid under normal temperature. Broadly speaking, any polymer that can be used as a raw material for processing plastic products is called resin.
Plastic refers to a material that can be flow molded during processing with resin (or directly polymerized with monomers during processing) as the main component and plasticizers, fillers, lubricants, colorants and other additives as auxiliary components.
It can be seen that resin is one of the raw materials of plastic and plastic is the finished product of resin. In other words, what is not molded is resin, and after molding is plastic.
